1.What we collect and why
| Data | When | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address | You save your session or log in | Cross-device access, purchase recovery, product emails | Contract; consent (marketing) |
| Purchase status (entitlement only; no card data) | You buy | Unlocking the App, restoring purchases | Contract |
| Learning progress (deck, statuses, streak) | You use the App | Core functionality; synced only with an account | Contract |
| Usage analytics (screen and funnel events, device model, OS and app version, language) | You use the App | Improving the product, measuring flows | Legitimate interest |
| Support messages | You contact us | Answering you | Legitimate interest |
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use App Tracking Transparency because we do not track. Payment card data is handled entirely by Apple or our web payment provider and never reaches us.
2.Who processes data for us
- Apple — App Store purchases and receipts.
- RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management.
- Supabase — accounts, sync storage, and account sign-in emails.
- Google Firebase — usage analytics.
- Resend — transactional and product emails.
All processors act under data-processing agreements. Data may be processed in the EU and the US under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
3.Marketing emails
Only if you gave us your email; the consent note is shown at the point of collection. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing keeps only the transactional emails needed to restore your purchase.
4.Retention
- No account: progress stays on your device; uninstalling the App deletes it.
- With an account: progress and email are kept until you delete the account.
- Analytics events are retained up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated.
- Purchase records are kept as long as required for entitlements and legal or accounting duties.
5.Deletion and your rights
In the App: Settings → Delete account and data removes your account, email and synced progress. You can also write to support@fluentlines.app.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO). We respond within 30 days.
6.Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or a higher minimum age where local law requires one). Mature-language content is off by default and gated behind an explicit age confirmation in Settings.
7.Changes
We will post updates on this page and note material changes in the App. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
